Farmstead Circle's Community Commitment is how we give back while we build: we support the Farmer Veteran Coalition as our primary charitable beneficiary, reserve limited complimentary Sponsored Pro directory slots for qualifying Virginia micro rural businesses, and volunteer time for veteran-farming programs. We are independent supporters, not an official FVC partner.

Inspired by integrated philanthropy models, Farmstead Circle dedicates platform access, financial support, and volunteer time to strengthen the rural and veteran-farming communities we serve.

What does the Community Commitment include?
Three pillars: support for veteran farming programs, complimentary Sponsored Pro slots for qualifying micro rural businesses, and volunteer time.
Models like Salesforce's 1:1:1 program integrate equity, product, and time into company culture from day one. Farmstead Circle adapts that mindset for a Virginia rural care platform.
Financial Support
Ongoing donations to rural-ag missions as the platform grows.
As Farmstead Circle grows, we intend to dedicate a portion of platform revenue to the Farmer Veteran Coalition and similar rural-ag community missions. We will report on that support as donations begin. We are pre-launch today; this is a commitment, not a historical donation record.

We reserve a limited number of complimentary Sponsored Professional directory listings each year for qualifying Virginia micro rural service businesses. This is directory advertising only: farm owners discover your business on Farmstead Circle but contact and pay you directly off-platform.
People and Time
Volunteer time, mentorship, and visibility for veteran-farming programs.
Our team volunteers time and platform visibility for Farmer Veteran Coalition-aligned programs, including beginning farmer veterans, Homegrown By Heroes, and rural apprenticeship pathways. We aim to show up as neighbors, not just as a product.

We support FVC as an independent donor. We are not an official partner.
The Farmer Veteran Coalition cultivates a new generation of farmers and food leaders and develops viable employment and meaningful careers through collaboration between the farming and military communities.
Veteran farmers and homesteaders face the same caretaker-coverage and rural-service gaps our platform addresses. FVC's Fellowship Fund, Homegrown By Heroes, and AgVets programs align with our community-before-extraction value.

- Profile visible to Virginia farm owners browsing the Farm Services directory
- Standard pro compliance attestation and license disclosure requirements still apply
Listings are labeled as Sponsored directory advertising. Farmstead Circle does not process payments between homestead owners and listed professionals.
What should you know about limits?
We publish where the program stands today, including what is not yet funded or scaled.
We believe trust includes honesty about what we have and have not done yet. This page describes our intentions and operating model. When we make our first charitable donations or award Community Sponsored Pro slots, we will note that here.

- ·Financial support commitments are aspirational during pre-launch and early growth. We will update this page as donations are made.
Edge cases we will not blur
Directory advertising is not labor placement. Homestead owners contact Sponsored Pros directly. Farmstead Circle does not take a cut of those off-platform engagements.
Cash gifts to FVC depend on company runway. Complimentary Sponsored Pro slots are capped. Volunteer hours are tracked as we scale.

Eligibility and hard limits
Community Sponsored Pro is for Virginia-based micro rural agricultural service businesses (solo operators or very small teams) that serve hobby farms, homesteads, or small livestock operations. Veteran-owned businesses and FVC-recommended applicants receive priority review. Slots are limited each year and awarded case by case; we may pause applications when the annual cap is reached.
A complimentary listing still requires the same Sponsored Pro compliance attestation and license disclosures as a paid listing. The benefit covers directory advertising only (up to the published annual Sponsored Pro value). It does not waive booking platform fees for owners, create employment relationships, or move payments onto Farmstead Circle for pro services.
Financial gifts to Farmer Veteran Coalition are separate from directory sponsorship. We are independent donors, not an official partner. Until we publish a first donation date and amount on this page, treat cash support as a commitment, not a completed gift record. Volunteer time focuses on veteran-farming education and visibility, not emergency dispatch or transportation coordination.
Out-of-state businesses, large commercial operations, and staffing or labor-placement firms do not qualify. If your business later grows past micro scale, we may ask you to convert to a standard Sponsored Pro plan at renewal rather than renew the complimentary slot indefinitely.
